Kevin Rice, a co-founder of Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, has high
praise for the company’s Julie Harris Stage, calling the just-opened
building on Route 6 “one of the most beautiful small theaters I’ve ever
seen in my life.”

Next up: On July 16-17 and 23-24, there’s “Matt & Ben,” a one-act
send-up of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck starring actresses Dakota Shepard
and Melenie Freedom Flynn. Then, on Aug. 6-7 and 13-14, there’s Rice’s
own “Gloves Off! Nabokov vs. Wilson!” a literary prizefight with 15
three-minute rounds detailing “Lolita” author Vladimir Nabokov’s duel of
words with author-critic Edmund Wilson.
“We’re going to have a lot of fun, and you don’t have to have read
Nabokov or Wilson to get it,” Rice says.
