In adjoint to the post of Nov. 5, 2005, re: Lemony Snicket & Nabokov,
that's the Daniel Handler (alter ego of Lemony Snicket & creator of the
series of that name) answer to:
"Your favorite book?"
"Lolita by Nabokov. Not that I take it as a model for me, but it's an
effective description of every absolute love, and it's ending in
disaster: my favorite end."
