Also in Boyd's biography is a mention of VN's drama-focused creative writing
course in Stanford (pp. 29-33), of which my favorite part is the bit on page
32 (chiefly because it seems so at odds with his approach in _Lectures on
Literature_): VN "would be highly appreciative of anything even vaguely
resembling acceptable prose."
