(Sorry for my weak english)
I can also post one thing - a 'graph of references'
from Pale Fire commentary done by me also about or over
2 years ago. As far as I know this is also not done
(but maybe I am wrong)
This is done based on my favourite (over 10 times
read) polish version of book (translation by Baranczak/
Klobukowski) not on english version which I do not have
in paper version) and could and should be done for oryginal
version of book becouse line numbers are different and
much worse I am not sure if translation did not included
some mistakes in 'graph schema'. Better version should
contain more info (for example exact quotes of reference
jump etc) Maybe I do it myself also but this year I am tired
and deharmonised (stupid and in bad mood ) Below, this '->'
mean that reference is strict and '..>' that reference is not so clear
strict, Only references through commentary noted
(no commentary to poem references)

I have also noted (in winter '04 when I wrote this drawing)
that:
if you count a reference both ways about 50 of commentaries
(of all about 131) is grouped in one block, few other
are in smal groups the most of it is alone
if you treat a reference 'both ways' the longer way is
from 'suicide' (493) to 'repetition' (131-133) - 18 stops
If you only treat reference one way (possibly wiser)
the longest journey is from 'swing' (61) to 'Sybil' (247) -
7 stops
In poland there (in this day 2 May between two state holidays)
I have real Zemblan weather today, I must add
sadly because I am cold and I am ill, my head little aches
my throat aches and my eyes cry my hands feel cold
(-> blue sky with many distant jetplan lines, clouds,
all bushes and trees very green, so big amount leaves,
a little cold a little sun and a little wind also - but little)
