Body
Sorry for my weak English.

Years ago I wrote down a plan of a Gradus trip:

C1 2 VII 59 Onhava
3 Onhava
sat 4 Onhava
C2 5 Onhava -> Copenhagen (by airplane)
6 Copenhagen
7 Copenhagen -> Paris (airplane)
8 (Geneva ?)
9 (Geneva ?)
10 Geneva -> (Montreaux) -> Lex -> Geneva (rented car)
sat 11 Geneva
C3 12 Geneva
13 Geneva
14 Geneva
15 Geneva -> Nice (airplane)
16 Nice
17 Nice
sat 18 Nice -> Paris (by train)
C4 19 Paris
20 Paris -> New York (airplane)
21 New York -> New Wye (airplane)

Not sure if It was posted here or not. Recently
I have noticed a table with Phileas Fogg trip

Londres / Suez --- rails et paquebot--- 7 jours
Suez / Bombay ----paquebot----- 13 jours
Bombay / Calcutta----- rails----- 3 jours
Calcutta / Hong Kong------- paquebot -----13 jours
Hong Kong / Yokohama------- paquebot ------6 jours
Yokohama / San Francisco------- paquebot-------- 22 jours
San Francisco / New York------ rails------- 7 jours
New York / Liverpool------- paquebot------ 8 jours 18 heures
Liverpool / Londres------- rails------- 6 heures

Total : 80 jours

(this is from page http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phileas_Fogg)
and I think it may has some similarities (for example close or
same number of 'stops'). I am tired and
involved from time of about two years in my day job
so I am not thinking about Nabokov writings much :-(
but maybe some person will find some interesting deeper
similiarities with that (or something). Maybe this theme above
was already discussed here, I am not sure and archive is
too big for me to look into.

pozdrawiam (greetings)
Tomasz Kaminski :-)
