Alexey, I don't have it in front of me, but isn't the father in "Scenes
>From the Life of a Double Monster" also named Ibrahim? If that story
takes
place in Turkey, as I think it does, this could also relate to the
notoriously debauched Ibrahim I (the crazy), the Ottoman ruler.
