JM: he is mentioned as "Charles" Chateaubriand - and I wonder why
It is a different Chateaubriand. His first name hints at Baudelaire. Below on the page there is a little French poem and Vivian Darkbloom comments on it in his "Notes": "she [Ada who liked crossing orchids] crosses here two French authors, Baudelaire and Chateaubriand".
