Vladimir Nabokov. "Laura i ee original." Sankt-Peterburg, Azbuka klassika," 2010
A very nicely done edition of VN's "The Original of Laura" containing the text of the American edition as translated by Gennady Barabtarlo, as well a translation of DN preface to the English original.
The edition has two features that make it of interest to all VN scholars. Barabtarlo has provided footnotes both to DN's "Introduction" plus his own 60-odd foototes to his translated text. Best of all, Barabtarlo appends a 35-page essay discussing his translation and textual matters.
Essential for VN specialists.
