The metaphor is nice but it doesn't work which is, for some reason, easier to see in music: the best composers and bands develop from simple, "light" harmonies to more complex. Those who try the opposite often fail. There is development and simplification and each has its reasons. Like, may be, lack of effort and abundance of it.
Speaking of light there is plenty of it in Ada. But one needs to read it in: the light.
