Re: THOUGHTS: George Sanders and VN

I was struck by a similarity in appearance and manner between VN and
George Sanders, but do not believe that I ever made this observation in print.
One writer who did, if memory serves, was Helen Lawrenson in her article
about VN, "The Man Who Scandalized the World". Esquire, 54 (2), Aug 1960,
pp.70-73. A wonderful journalist, Lawrenson is perhaps best remembered, for
those of us old enough to remember, for a 1936 Esquire article, "Latins are
Lousy Lovers".
