As part of the Hammer Museum’s ongoing “Sing Your Favorite Book” series, Los Angeles musician Jessica Basta sat in and paced through the galleries on July 22, crooning portions of the Vladimir Nabokov classic Lolita. You know, the book where middle-aged Humbert Humbert has an affair with his prepubescent stepdaughter.
