Trans-oceanic Butterflies

Those who have been interested in Nabokov's (accurate) "Nail of Nome" theory of butterfly dispersal from Eurasia to the New World (his case regarding the Blues), might be interested in new evidence, in different group, for a theory he rejected: butterflies crossing the ocean.

Classics from The Nabokovian

The latest "Classic" is Dr. J.D. Quin's "Nabokov's Cardiology" from 1991.

On retrospective study of Nabokov's novels a high prevalence of cardiac pathology has been noted. A representative series of four patients are described with clinical information derived from the texts. Current management of the medical conditions detailed is discussed along with an explanation for the high frequency of their occurrence.
